Sorry you are in so much pain Tina.
I gave up on hanging washing out years ago and I know I shouldn't but I use the tumble drier.

Love, Doreen xx

I can`t hang my washing out either - and of course I grumble that Nick isn`t doing it right!

Sorry it hurts Tina.

Gosh Tina, I thought it was just me and I was being lazy and not doing shoulder exercises or summat. I now use those airer things, in the winter near a radiator.

I USE AIRERS AND I INVESTED IN A HANGING RAIL FROM ARGOS ABOUT £10 AND KEPT ALL THE HANGERS FROM SHOPS IF OFFERED, POUND SHOP SELL THEM, ITS GREAT AND I DONT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT SPACE AS I KEEP IT IN MY CONSERVATORY, THEN AT NIGHT I WHEEL IT INTO MY LIVING ROOM AND EVERYTHING IS DRY IN THE MORNING I CAN TAKE MY TIME TO FOLD AND PUT AWAY AND SAVE IRONING,MY DAUGHTER GOT ONE AS WELL AND SHE HAS A SMALL HOUSE SHE PUTS HERS IN HER BATH WHEN IN USE SO CLEAVER,THEN IT CAN BE DISMANTLED AND HIDDEN IF WANTED.I DO MAKE USE OF MY KIDS WHEN THE WEATHER IS NICE TO PUT WASH OUT AND IN, I HAVE A GOOD FRIEND ON HAND AS WELL.GOOD LUCK HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER

well i am the washer woman i do tons .and tons
i would use tall airers taller and bigger the better the higher it goes the quicker it drys
hang over the stairs things like towels sheets .
get those things that hold a coat hanger you put on the door that other quick way .
Dry upstairs and iron up stairs .
Use softer good stuff and never drapp the washing hang it where the air gets all round it it small on one rail big on other so that stuff is not touching .Hang niceley thats saves so much ironing

windows open locked shut if warm enough .Winter you can change the air in a room 10 mins
Or get one of those clothes rails and use hangers in an airie place that could save ironing .with wheels if you have room .

I dry up on landing or bedroom as its quicker .

christine hope it helps

HI CHRISTINE, GYPSY PEGS or storm pegs, dolly pegs, are great i have used them for years, nowadays they are plastic,i bought mine in woolworths, i got some in poundstrechers, you could try qd,wilkinsons, savers, even the pound shop, they usually come in bags of about 50 for roughly £2 good luck,
